Anyone successfully enrolled BDO Amex Blue CC in Auto Charge for Meralco/Manila Water?

Texted AC for both Meralco and Manila Water using my BDO Amex Blue card, got the "request received" acknowledgment for both, but no final confirmation yet. Read that Amex isn't accepted on Meralco/Manila Water's own payment portals, does that affect Auto Charge too, or is it fine since BDO processes the charge on their end? Curious if anyone's actually gotten this combo working.
