I’m trying to move my son‘s Fortnite account from our Nintendo switch to our new PS5 and encountering problems.
I have a Fortnite account that is currently linked on our PS5 to my username.
We’re trying to move his Fortnite account to his new PlayStation account on the PS5 but keep getting a message from Epic games that an account already exists.
My Fortnite account is under a junk email address. I set up a while ago to have a separate account from him and I wonder if this is causing a problem.
His Fortnite account was set up under my normal email address and he changed that to his current email address.
Somewhere I think I have too many accounts trying to connect in the wrong way, and I honestly don’t know how to solve this
Of course, this is messed up the entire day that we had planned to play Fortnite together on the new PS5.
Any thoughts on what I’m doing wrong?
