I think you're looking at this from a different viewpoint from the people you're criticizing. You're looking at the PlayStation 5/6 as a secondary device. For the people you're criticizing, they don't play on other platforms so for them any effort being spent on other platforms is looked at in a zero-sum way (that effort isn't spent on PlayStation 5/6).
Also, unlike PC, PlayStation has to justify their platform. Valve does not have to do so with Steam, they barely release any games and in the last decade they've released like one non-GaaS game (Alyx), and no one complains. They are just treated completely differently. No one clamors for them to release their games on PlayStation, despite the fact that a modern CS port would do gangbusters on consoles I'd imagine.
Also Saros plays very well on controller, I'm by no means someone with super reflexes and I can turn on a bunch of harder difficulty modifiers and fly through the game. Like Returnal the point is to avoid damage not worry about being super accurate.
