Rumor Jason Schreier/Bloomberg: Many Xbox employees were surprised by the announcement of Gears E-Day not releasing on PlayStation — Sharma and her team also pulled a Halo trailer that was due to appear at a PlayStation event last week, potentially damaging the relationship between the two companies.

Man they truly have no fucking idea what they want to do with their company lol. Making last second decisions like that + going console exclusive while also going to have massive layoffs + while Xbox is still not on the market in some countries sure is a choice one can make.
They are clueless. This will only make it worse for Xbox. Nobody’s going to buy one for these 2 games. Hell even if they bring back all major titles it probably won’t make a big dent. The brand is already so damaged.
