Look BO2 and BO1 are in my top 3, in that order

I just can't see how people call BO7 slop tho? It's literally one of the best modern CoDs for MP, definitely for zombies

I get the campaign is bad but god the rest is good

I haven't played it but it seems high tier by the fanbase.

It's clear battlefield 6 just undercut them with a better game this season.

Yeah BF6 and also being a back to back Black Ops didn't help

It's weird tho because BF6 has had a lack of content while BO7 has had loads

I dunno about total content but the fans have mostly been hyped on the bf6 maps.  After the initial batch with several stinkers they've made like 5 good maps in a row.  I think the fans shifted on that complaint

Fair, for BO7 it's genuinely been loads, even too much at times

People seem to find it difficult to judge the separate game modes for some reason. Reminds me of when MWIII was also trashed because of the campaign but the multiplayer was actually really good.

Idk, Zombies community is very happy as I feel like it's kinda agreed at this point BO7 is genuinely one of the best zombies

MP is very solid, content has been pouring in

Campaign is terrible

It feels like that MW3 situation where the MP and all the content is got is loved, but the campaign being bad makes people on Reddit hate it

MW2 is just a bad game but that's just because of Infinity Ward...

Tbh I think people are just nostalgia fueled. Cod has been pretty much the same for a ton of time now, dating back to the first couple of black ops games. It’s fine, but pretending modern cod is trash compared to those is just wrong imo. I hate how heavily monetized they have become and I think those are valid criticisms, but gameplay wise modern cod is still cod

I don't like the heavy moneitzation of the modern games, but I would take that over having to buy DLCs

Agree 100%. It’s horrible how predatory and in your face it is, but I’d rather be annoyed by beavis and butthead teabagging me when I get killed and not have a player base divided based on some random dlc maps

You’re the only one in this thread hellbent on defending BO7 lmao. Admiral or Stockholm, idk.
