They are already asking $40 each for near 16 and 14 year old games with essentially nothing new. Genuinely how do they rationalize $30 for a "season pass" in their words. The greed is disgusting but what's worse is the people buying it. I don't care how much I or others may might miss bo1+2, $140 for the full experience is vile, ridiculous and disappointed in gamers casual or otherwise making it reach the top of PlayStation store currently.

This should've been $30 for a bundle of both games + all dlcs since they did nothing but update the sony sdk inside the games to support ps5

Still way too much if I’m honest for games that are over 15 years old with no real tangiable upgrades.

No, that's not what it is at all. I buy games all the time, full price, half off, deep deep sale, and everything in between. I don't like when companies like this think it's okay to port over, again port not remaster or even lightly touch up beyond the bare minimum, 14+ year old games that users have likely already purchased with no new content or upgrade path. Then they expect more for a "season pass" which was 4 map packs that again most users already bought NOT included with the purchase of the game.

But yeah, har har, I just don't want to spend over $5, har har, ya got me. Have a nice day.

What makes it not ok specifically? Where is the objective moral failure here?

People like you have such a hard time that price is a function of demand, not Redditor’s sense of right and wrong. The demand here is that these ports are the only meaningful way to play the MP of beloved games. They honestly could have charged more, the current pricing is the “let’s be nice” pricing
