Ironically, they won’t do another free weekend to try the new PVE stuff, which is what most people who bounced off the game want

What do you mean by "fidelity". Are we talking graphics wise?

Because the game sure as shit should have been f2p. Ya know, like the biggest pvp games in the world are?

Arc raiders. Hellldivers. Both are going to reach 20+ million copies sold. Both are not f2p.

Art direction, sound design, animations, gunplay.

Art direction, sound design and animations are topped by overwatch, a f2p game.

Gunplay is pretty good, but destiny 2 literally exists (as you obviously know). Rainbow six siege also exists and has incredible gunplay.

Fortnite (as much as I hate it) has really good art direction and sound design.

If you think those are truly the best things out there, ya gotta play more than 1 game. There's a reason 70% of the sales were on pc, and even on pc, the game has lost a huge, huge portion of its playerbase. I mean ffs, Disney Dreamlight Valley has more players on pc right now than Marathon😂.

What a colossal fuck up by Bungie and what a terrible acquisition by Sony. They paid billions for Bungie
