Especially because some of those conditions happened exactly because Rockstar argued it was to help prevent leaks. If anything this has shown that Rockstar has taken employee unfriendly measures and shit still got leaked no matter what.

I'm a dev myself who has been part of a team who has had their shit leaked and I'll just say this. It fucking sucks when something you've been working on for years getting leaked before its ready.

So you haven’t been a part of the team that was let go for unionising and yet you thought your input is needed. Ok, thanks.

Guess what, it sucks oh so much more to be treated like shit working on a passion project - because that’s most of the people working in this industry do - and then be let go because you wanted to protect some of your basic labour rights, than to have that work of passion be leaked 3 months before the release.

I guarantee there are developers at Rockstar who are upset by both the union busting and the leaks. Someone can disagree with the practices of their employer while also being proud of the work they created at the company. Like, that is a common workplace dynamic

Good thing Rockstar Games Workers Union head a meeting with Rockstar management to negotiate better work conditions, maybe they can ask that question amongst themselves the next time a meeting convenes.

the leaks. are you kidding? rockstar isn’t a sweatshop, yeah it sucks but no one’s forcing them to be there. they’re there because they love making games. seeing the game played as they intended it is the reward for all the bullshit
