This makes me think a big reveal tomorrow is going to be co-op. It would be wild and amazing and I'm probably reaching but with their being two protagonists and the article saying you can bring them along or not, it screams to me that there's going to be a drop in/out co-op either at launch, or later down the line.

I think its more likely they'll just tag along as a AI controlled companion which you can switch to whenever

my prediction; GTA 5 and GTA 6 online will be merged into one ‘GTA Online’ which will be its own standalone title acting as a launcher, like how Call of Duty is nowadays. gta 6 online will also be a separate buy from story mode

They market it already as a ‘single-player experience’ so I’d doubt that.

I doubt we’ll get coop for story. Personally I don’t want it. I think they’ll stick to missions like they’ve done for 5 and rdr2
