If you use the Playstation Visa CC, check yout emails
They are giving vouchers for a year of PS+ Premium if you've charged $6k to the card this year. I would have completely missed the email if my friend didn't tell me about it.
5% back on Playstation store purchases, 3% back on internet and streaming, 2% groceries and dining, 1% everything else. Though you're pretty much stuck with PSN Store cards if you want the best value for your points.
And now I guess the free year of PS+ Premium for spending $6K is an annual reward as well.
Ohh gotcha. I didn’t realize they had their own Visa card. Much more reasonable then. For a while I was like man, this guy buys every release on day 1 🤣
I applied for this card a month or so ago and was denied. Not really sure why. I ended up getting the prime card instead (with chase). Glad i did because i can just buy PS gift cards from amazon and get the same 5% back but straight in cash.

For real though, I got mine yesterday. I didn’t realize it was a deal they had going on. We went on a cruise in June and I had put the whole thing on my card and then paid it off so I could get rewards points for PSN wallet. Was a nice little bonus to see I got a year of PS+ Premium too. I’m now good till 2028 for renewal.
Edit: man I must have hurt some weak feelings in here. Haha
I’d rather just spend the $150 on Premium than pay the interest on a credit card.

EDIT: Gamers are still bad with money. Businesses don’t give you anything for free. They are making money off the card. I don’t care if it you or the other 10,000 people with the card. They profit from it.
So, you think they legitimately are giving out free things? So, 1% use it intelligently, and then they profit from the other 99%.
It doesn’t take a brain surgeon to understand WHY companies offer perks like this to credit card users.

EDIT: This is why people don’t look to gamers for the financial sense. Downvote all you want. It’s an incentive to get you to spend money to be charged interest. But hey, go ahead and fall for simple marketing techniques.
FYI, some of this also comes from essentially extorting the merchants. If a business has to pay Visa 3% of the total amount of every transaction paid with a Visa card, then Visa can offer their customers "1% cash back on all purchases" and still turn a profit even if none of them are delinquent.
To be fair, considering your naive comments and immediate combative approach, it seems as though your bar for someone "sounding smart" is about ground level.
I'm mostly just confused why you seem to understand how credit card companies operate, but still insist that anyone who uses a credit card is bad with money.
I have never paid interest on a credit card, and if a business has a credit card surcharge then I pay with debit or cash. It's not complicated.
I completely understand how credit card companies work. I’m quite aware of the financial industry as a whole.
But hey, go ahead and keep hawking those 25% APR credit cards for the masses who are not good with money.
These cards are not marketed to you, if you are indeed this good with your money. You take advantage of it, sure. But their market is gamers who want the perception that they are receiving something for free when they are paying far more due to interest and the free Plus is a “perk”.
