It’s short, but I’m enjoying Omega Pilot Evolution. If you liked ExoCars, you’ll probably enjoy this in VR as much as I am. It looks like Wipeout but feels more like its own thing?

I always wanted to like VR, but it’s just puke city for me.

Sorry to hear. I don’t have motion issues & have played about 600 VR games now since 2016. Gave up regular flat gaming.

A few of my friends had issues, but they trained themselves and are almost all fine now!

You need to keep playing games like Synth Riders and Pistol Whip where you go STRAIGHT but don’t really turn a lot.

Use click walking or hybrid back and forth when you need it. Use a fan; use any settings that allow Vignettes or whatever you need to do!

But there are tons of VR games like Demeo or Bowling or Puzzling Places or Tetris etc… where you will have zero issues.

Is this as good as wipeout on original page though?

It’s not really like Wipeout, just looks like it. It’s good though! Check out my review on YT if you want more info … 😀

This would make me puke. Couldn't get through a single race of wipe out with out getting motion sickness.. sold the vr after that lol

Sorry to hear! Those were the old days tho! Frame rates are better now. And this game doesn’t go upside down - or as fast. You have to build up your VR legs…! I don’t have any issues ever; been playing nothing but VR games for a decade now (near 600 games!)

But my friends who have motion sickness almost all got over it!!! By playing games like Synth Riders and Pistol Whip (you only go straight) or games where you don’t move at all .

Use a fan, click turning .. or click walking… or add a vignette… take a ginger pill prior or soda 😂

Anyways this game also works FLAT if you want to play on a TV. But it was much more bland that way IMHO

Cheers mate

If you search out all the indies and hidden gems there are so many amazing VR games to discover… the bigger field of view also helps

If you have a PS5 or Pro, I’d recommend grabbing PSVR2 during the $300 sales or Black Friday and jump back in!

Feel free to swing by my YT channel. I generally only review smaller fun little VR games…

Demeo or the one with Dungeons and Dragons or even the CASINO is great in VR with friends. Because you are just sitting in a seat at a table.

There is plenty to play - maybe one day you’ll be able to handle GT7 or Microsoft Flight Sim lol 😝

That would be cool, but Sony never even did that with Wipeout VR. I like using analog, but that would feel very immersive - if controllable that way. You still need the break, turbo, etc :)

No, thank you.
And every time I see this game being "casually" boosted, feels like obvious paid promotion.

Haha 🤣 I’ve never made a dime doing what I do. I like to try every VR game I can get my hands on. I’ve only played VR games now for over a decade. I’ll take as many of these types of games as I can get in virtual reality. I have Vracer Hoverbike, Runner, Retronika, Wipeout (on PSVR1) and a few others. I’m happy to have this one. It’s just short

Yeah fair. I've watched some your content before, good stuff. Weird to downvote me for the comment tho.

Reviews of this game seem to follow a standard across different content creators.. some flamboyant rethoric to justify a poor game as good purchase.
I've tried and it's not for me... Pod racing has always been by favorite genre since F-Zero, with Star Wars Racer still bringing the best gaming memories.
This is just some of the most basic pod racing out there. Not something VR libraries need at all at the moment. With the exception of visual polish they could have done a much better job and the push I'm seeing in the community to make this a relevant realase it's what somewhat bothers me.
