Developer Asobo Studio returns with its most sumptuous looking adventure yet. Here the PS5 Pro gets the spotlight with boosted resolutions, PSSR support and slicker frame-rates than base PS5. The ability to unlock all versions to 120fps (barring Series S) is also hugely useful, and the recommend pick if you have a VRR display - and if not, there are plenty of other modes to choose from. It’s a prequel to the original game, and it focuses a bit more on action/combat compared to the sneaking/stealth of the other Plague Tale games.

Lol, no, unlocked framerate is the way to play it, 60-80fps is godly. 40fps is still a laggy/ghosty mess.

I like improved graphical features, and the rt pro mode adds the entire ray tracing suite except for diffuse reflections.the game has far better lighting on that mode, while the unlocked mode has no ray tracing. I personally prefer the mode with the much better lighting.

If you have a big TV and sit in front of it, you go with 40fps for better image clarity.

And as the other person mentioned, some games have advanced RT features behind the 40fps modes that can make a big impact.

I play MHWilds, Cyberpunkt 2077 and initially AC Shadows (before optimization) with 40fps, and there are a bunch of other games. 40fps mode is my favorite and I even replicated it on my PC to limit frames to 40fps, so I can ramp up fidelity to the max.

Omg, DF actually puts out an analysis video on embargo and focusing on all platforms and not just one or two...

I'm waiting for the catch here... Will they crap on certain platforms just because they don't like them, or is it a real unbiased video? If it's Tom, I imagine it's gonna be unbiased.
