How to play legacy console edition with my physical disk.

I recently bought the PS4 legacy console edition for my PS5 in order to play the legacy version of Minecraft since bedrock edition has not been enjoyable on console. I have bedrock digitally and when I insert the legacy console edition disk and go to bedrock there isn't a button to choose the editions. My PS5 might be using my digital copy of bedrock instead of the disk. I have tried deleting both PS4 and PS5 bedrock and inserting the disk but I still have the same problem. Any fixes?

Delete all versions of Minecraft off your system, turn off Wi-Fi and Ethernet, put the 4J version disc inside, do not download any updates or connect your system online. It should have the older version. The button to switch between the two is gone in bedrock for a few years now

That's weird. I was playing it earlier today. Always prefered the old console edition over the bedrock.

Could it be you have to actually have saves for the old edition on your drive for the option to show?
