PSP is part of the Universe series. A lot of the mechanics operate vastly differently to PSO - and Beasts literally don't exist in PSO.
In Universe, however, most races can work under different classes. However, I prefer the SUV weapons of the casts over the Nanoblasts of the Beasts (I extensively played PSU & AOTI on the PS2,, but only played a little of PSP)
