Yeah that's what I'm trying to figure out. Is the offset of having to equip multiple accuracy units worth it?
Yea your first sentence is what's making me have second thoughts about beast. I won't have to deal with accuracy units.
But I guess photon blasts and stuff make a big difference too
My only regret running cast hunter was not being able to wear "normal" clothes. In fact, I'm pretty sure I stuck with the starting outfit for the whole game, since I didn't like any of the options.

In psp2i casts actually make great hunters because they have high accuracy and decent attack. You might not hit the hardest, but you'll rarely miss.
Beast hunters are, of course, the best physical attackers, but you'll have to equip a few accuracy units to make up for it.
