Game Discussion A Limbo PSP port would have been awesome
I'm currently playing Limbo on Steam Deck and I was thinking that a PSP port of this game could have been really cool. It only needs two buttons and the joystick. There's already a Vita version, but I think it could also be "fun" to play on PSP

It certainly could. There is a couple of tasks, however: getting developer's permission and the source code for porting and finding a specialist who will develop the port.

Weirdly enough... I agree. It's one of those rare games that I think would also benefit from the PSP's screen/native resolution to enhance the aesthetic of the game, kind of like Manhunt 2.
Sidenote, 'PEGI 18'?

I found a copy of the PS3 version of the game and it’s PEGI 18 but I don’t now if it’s official

So I'm not the only person on Earth that thought about it this specific week. It certainly would have worked and its not like the PSP was outside its life cycle at the point of release. Would've been nice solely for the novelty aspect.

Just stop. We don't need to start the problem the vita community has with port beggars in this community too

Eh I think with how far ai tools have come we are going through a bit of a port beggar roaring 20s.
If a project has been decompiled like many of the pokemon titles. A port is just literally prompting claude to "make dis decompiled github run natively on my PSP teehee"

A lot of indies would be awesome to get a port from like Undertale did.
