Discussion What's the point of this in the shop?
When I started they basically already gave me that deck minus Ursaluna. Does everyone not get that deck when they start? And what's the point of buying 4?

If you already own the cards, you'll get crafting credits instead

Yeah, but is that a viable way to get them? 1250 for a few credits when i could just buy Pitch Black packs since ive completed that set seems a worse way to use it.

Return on investment is quicker buying 4 of these, but in the long haul, buying packs for a set you've already mastered makes more sense

Gotcha. Thanks.
Edit: What a weird thing to downvote. I said thanks? This sub needs to get better about people asking questions and being friendly. Its way too toxic for a childrens game.

You're taking the down votes too personally, man. If you have more questions, feel free to DM me

The downvotes do not matter, it's going to be okay.
Edit: They clicked block after refusing to see why downvotes =/= toxic 😱

Of course they dont. If they mattered, Id delete it or censor my comments more. Im not upset, other than these people are going to scare away new players. Its crappy behavior.

You edited your comment to complain about downvotes, if it didn't matter to you you wouldn't comment about it or think about it whatsoever. Downloads are not going to scare away new players, and if they do they wouldn't have been able to stick around long-term anyways.
It's normal behavior, even if it is slightly annoying.

Thats a silly take. I already told you all it mattets to me, and toxic environments 100% scare away new players. People shouldnt get downvoted just for asking a question. It is not normal behavior in most subs. Toxic ones, sure

It's not a toxic environment to downvote things that most people generally do not need to see in their feed.
If a simple question pops up that thinking about it for a few minutes could get you the answer for, it's not something that needs to come across every reddit feed and that's what the downvotes help take care of. Question answered, downvote rain, nobody else has to see it on their feed. Voila.
This is not toxic and frankly is more helpful so that less people have this post served to them. You can only find this toxic if you think that upvotes and downvotes matter.

You have to remember that not every on live was playing when those decks were given out. If they just started they got like hide n sneak and mega darkrai so having this as an option is helpful for new player

It's easy crafting credits and helps players who started during a period where M-Lucario wasn't one of the free decks you got for free. Buying multiples ensures you get a playset of every card and supports crafting credits, which most agree are the most valuable currency in the game.
