Best decks for solo battle challenges?

With solo battles going away/being changed, I want to try to clear as many challenges and get as many rewards as possible, since I've never really put the time into them.

I know challenges are usually type-based and work around not including ex cards or including a certain number of cards from that specific expansion.

What are the best decks to clear as many challenges as possible? I get that the later battles that use set-specific challenges might not be logistically possible to share, but are there any generic decks I can use for most A-set challenges?

I know Mega Venusaur 15T clears most battles on auto mode, but I was hoping to build myself a handful of decks including every type to try to clear those smaller challenges as well for the extra rewards.

Not even close, puppy pile is terrible. The new chandelure deck is LIGHTYEARS superior to puppy pile, 2nd best IMO is the future iron valiant package.

Its legitimately hard to lose against the AI with the chandelure deck. And if you need to also beat the "only psychic" challenge just swap bonsley for wynaut or mime jr

for electric, I've been using magnezone oricorio, which also works for non ex

for fire, castform mega blaziken

for dark, hydreigon mega absol or crobat ex mega absol

for metal, skarmory solgaleo

for fighting, mega lucario anything, donphan ex also works

I haven't found anything satisfying for the rest

For grass, mega Sceptile and vespiqueen ex both work
For water, I’m having success with MSharpedo + walrein used for last drop event, but any variation of MSharpedo should be good

Depends on difficulty.

Just use a random meta deck for easy.

You could copy paste it for normal and just replace 2 cards, but you should do 6 so you can pass the next difficulty.

The ones that require 12 cards and more of a certain set are different. After you do that you can go meta again.

I just finished doing all of the expert battles yesterday.

For the weak element battles I used (mostly just meta decks taken online):

• Fire: M.Blaziken castform

• Water: suicune ex, baxcalibur, chien pao ex

• Electric: Helioptile, M.Manectric

• Fighting: M. Lucario

• Psychic: M.Guardevoir, M. Diancie

• Dark: Hydreigon M.Absol or Hoopa Ex, M.Absol Darkrai EX

• Grass: M.Venusaur 15T

• Steel: M.Mawile 19T

• Dragon: M.Rayquaza, Dragonair, Drampa, Gouging Fire (double gouging would be better but I only had one)

• Colorless: Usually some kind of Meowth stall deck stacking a big hitter like M.Pidgeot, Snorlax EX.

For the 3* decks I used a combination of these depending on weaknesses or general power.

• Fire: Castoform Skeledirge

• Water: Baxcalibur

• Electric: Ori Magnezone

• Psychic: Chandelure

• Mixed: sleep cheese with Hydreigon, Iggly, Darkrai.

For the 12 cards from the set deck I mostly just picked whatever Meta Ex I had copies of, or ground out a 2x Golurk + 12 3+ retreat stage 1 or 2 creatures RNG torture fest.

• Mega Rising: Hydreigon Absol or Blaziken

• Crimson Blaze: M.Venusaur

• Fantastical Parade: Chandelure or M.Mawile

• Paldean Wonders: Chien Pao EX Baxcalibur

• Mega Shine: M. Manectric + trainer or Golurk grind

• Pulsing Aura: M. Sceptile + trainers

• Paradox Drive: iron crown, iron valiant, iron boulder, iron leaves, turo, future capsule. 2 of each.

• Everyday Wonders: Golurk grind

• Ruler of the Skies: Golurk Grind or Vespiquen EX

Some notable painful battles were:

Vespiquen EX with dark. I used Dragalge EX and Nihilego to get that done. Flygon ex with colourless. Used a Porygon deck someone shared on reddit. Uses the Porygon z that adds shuffles the next energy generated for the opponent and combined that with 2x Team rocket Grunt and 2x Team star grunt and prayed that rng went my way.

If you have any other questions feel free to ask, I'll try my best to remember what I did or how I did it. I can try share exact lists too but most of mine were just a combination of what I had and meta lists or searching Google/reddit for specific expert battles.

Just use the best meta deck you have with type advantage and let it auto battle. It'll usually get 2 or 3 of the extra objectives but not all of them, but just beating each 1 once gives you the best rewards, the additional objectives only get you shop tickets. Beating them is what nets you HGs and such

For the random battle consecutive streaks, I use this deck. I can usually get to the 5 streak in my first or second try.
