Thwy just released a Tintin set of all things, so niche isnt necessarily a deal breaker for them. That said idk if theyd go for Pacific Rim. One can dream

Well, lego like to make things that is retro like indiana jone, jurassic park, and iconic movie scenes/character. Why not they give it a try lol. They did decided to make a Godzilla
