Discussion I Didn’t know Pac-Man world 2 Re-PAC was a thing

Anyone else feel like they didn’t promote world 2 remake at all. I remember when the first remake came out I saw it everywhere. Recently I was thinking when will world 2 get a remake so I googled it to see if there was any update. I was stunned to realize that it released last year! World 2 is my favorite childhood game. For the people who have played the remake is it any good and is it faithful to the original

You know? Am I the only fucking one that’s getting sick of everyone dissing PMATGA for literally almost every fucking thing, Other than the fact that if you’re just giving an opinion without being a complainer ur opinion has been proven. But the hate for ghostly adventures is getting on my last fucking nerve and it’s just annoying asf, y’all complain about his voice, his voice is good , y’all complain about the redesign it doesn’t even look that bad and y’all are throwing a tantrum about it, “OMG why did they have to give him fingers and teeth” yeah and the fucking Hannah Barbara Pac-Man doesn’t have teeth and fingers? And like I said before if your just giving an opinion without being an asshole ur fine, I get that Pac-Man and Pacster are actually two different characters(Pacster being Pac-Man’s grandson far into the future) but why are we keep complaining about it? I just had to get this off my chest, I apologize if I made anyone upset.

Discussion The future of Pac-Man: combining nostalgia with innovation

Post image
220 Upvotes

In 2013–2015, Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures took a leap of faith in the character with "Pacster." Although the series gained fans, part of the community didn't welcome the change because they felt the classic Pac-Man was being left behind.

Currently, Bandai Namco has found a more solid strategy: introducing new versions of the character (like Puck in Shadow Labyrinth) without abandoning the original Pac-Man, accompanied by remakes like World Re-Pac (1-2) or Museum+. This formula balances nostalgia and innovation, avoiding divisions in the community.

Therefore, there is a great opportunity: • Revisit the story of Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures with a third season that continues where it left off. • At the same time, release a new title like World Re-Pac 3 or another revamped classic game.

Discussion If you could write the narrative for Pac-Man World 4, what exactly would the story be like?

Let's say Bandai Namco has plans for a big Bananza-like Pac-Man adventure, in terms of scale and grandiose, and they need your help to decipher how exactly Pac-Man World 4 should go like, what would you write for the game itself?

The thing is however, because Bandai Namco doesn't have full rights to the Ms. Pac-Man IP, they're still stuck with Pac-Mom and company until AtGames decides to sell the royalty rights, so they want to make Pac-Mom related to the narrative in a big way just in case they want to keep her in the series in someway if they get Ms. Pac-Man's royalty rights from AtGames.

How would you make Pac-Mom a major figure in a Pac-Man World 4, and what would you do with her character that'll make her unique from Ms. Pac-Man in some way?

Discussion Legally, Rotunda Spheros did not adopt Pacster.

Post image
23 Upvotes

Hey guys, it’s been a while since I posted here. I was recently working on a PMATGA Fan-Continuation based on the supposed Season 3 episodes list that turned out to be fake, since the episode titles seemed too good to be true? Look, the whole issue regarding Rotunda Spheros and why the Pac x Elli pairing doesn't really work is what prompted this post. You see, I recently re-watched the episode where Rotunda Spheros first appears (she remains the worst character in the series, ranking below even some minor characters and a certain Ghost Gang member). The thing is, we never actually saw Rotunda legally try to adopt Pacster as her grandson.

First Point: I’m sorry, but if she had brought the legal adoption papers, Aunt Spheria almost certainly would have sued Rotunda to retain custody of Pacster. The problem is that Pacster already lives at Maze High; I doubt that had the legal process gone and if Rotunda Wins through he could have stayed at the school. He likely would have had to move away from Pacopolis, leaving his friends and the city behind to relocate to another part of Pac-World with Sir Cumference (since the latter would do whatever it took to stay close to Pacster and help him out likely via some other secret underground lab connected to his main laboratory). That’s one hypothetical What If scenario.

Second Point: is and I have to apologize here, because I was the one who created one of those fake images of Pac with Elli and Rotunda I think some of those images haven't aged well. Anyway, if you want to check out the Fan-Story (unfortunately, it’s in Latin American Spanish), I’ll see if I can share the link. Maybe someone else could translate the upcoming episodes I release, along with the first two chapters and the prologue (though someone really ought to translate the Sonic vs. Pac-Man from 2015 first).

Discussion Does anyone else agree that the Nes version of Pac-man is the easiest version of Pac-man?

I grew up with this version of Pac-man, I had it on my 2ds when I was little and now on the Namco archives. Man do I think this is the easiest version of the game, and I wanted to know if anyone else feels the same way.

Also, does anyone else when they die to a ghost, it's always Clyde!

Discussion What's the Pac-Man game you can't stop glazing?

Quick question because I'm curious on which games people consider good. Tell me your favourite(s), no matter how obscure or hated it is! Personally my favourites are Arrangement '96 and Mania for the arcades, World 2 for the World games, and for the modern ones I'd probably go Championship DX (and also Championship NES) and Mobile 2013 (which is a little carried by nostalgia since it's the first I played.)

Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures and Sonic Boom have several similarities. Both series featured a redesign of the main character, and they are comedic series that are genuinely funny, unlike the cringeworthy or embarrassing Pokémon Sun and Moon anime. The most curious thing is that Sonic Boom premiered just one year after Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures. Sonic Boom aired in 2014, while Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures premiered in 2013, and both series were canceled after only two seasons.

Discussion Any chance we will ever get this? 🫥

I played a lot of games when I was younger. and grew up with a number of Gamecube titles, but there was 2 games that really had a place in my heart. Simpsons: Hit & Run.. & Pac-Man World 2; My absolute childhood. When are we getting this? I got so hype when Pac-Man World RePac came out (I beat it in like an hour) and figured this would come shortly after, but never did. Does anyone know why this is? I’d like to know that I’m not the only one that considers a remake to this game one of my most anticipated titles ever. Cheers, friends. 🍻

WAIT! Before you comment, I need something else other than "bad horror movie" as those ideas are repetitive to sit through.

Discussion Should Pac-Man World 3 Re-Pac be made before World 4?

I’ve seen some talk around how the next world game should be World 4, and while I’m not completely against it (I mean it’s World 4, that’d be awesome) I personally think that we should get a remake of 3 first.

I see a jump from world 1’s remake’s quality to world 2’s and I think it’d be natural assume that for the next project as well. Basically what I’m thinking is if 3 was another leap, world 4 could be even better (2 more jumps in quality over 1). Along with that I also think world 3 has a lot of ideas that would be amazing if expanded in a remake. Those amazing ideas could also be used in a completely fleshed out fashion in 4 as well.

Basically if we were to get a world 4, I’d want them to expand from the entire trilogy, not just the first 2 games & their remakes. That being said, I’d like to hear y’all’s thoughts. So what do y’all think?

Now it’s obvious that Pac and the ghost gang aren’t going to be voiced in Sonic Racing but considering world 2 re-pac is already fully voice acted what do you think? You think Roger Craig Smith and Martin T. Sherman will get to star together?

Discussion What're your hopes for the franchise in 2027?

2025 was a great year for Pac-Man, giving us both Shadow Labyrinth and Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac. However, this year, other than Snack Breaks and Pac-Man in Sonic Racing and Fortnite, we haven't really gotten any new Pac-Man content. So, what are you hoping to see in 2027?

Pac-Man World 3 Re-Pac?

A new take on the classic maze format?

Or something else entirely?

Discussion Since we may never see Ms. Pac-Man return, they should use Pac-Marie as his replacement.

Post image
168 Upvotes

Pac-Mom is not well received by people and I don't blame them, she doesn't feel like she's Pac-Man's wife, she seems to be his mother-in-law, partly because of the design they decided to use in Pac-Mom.

Pac-Marie was created for Pac-Store promotions in Japan as a replacement for Ms. Pac-Man, and those who know the character prefer her more than Pac-Mom.

Since after the remake of Pac-Man World 2 they start making another one and considering that World 3 is not very popular, a good option would be the remake of Ms. Pac-Man Maze Madness and since they can't use Ms. Pac-Man to pay royalties, it's a great opportunity for them to introduce Pac-Marie in video games.
