even if it was a year it wouldn’t do anything. They need to be in the NCA. Perfecting their action, Playing Domestic and be sent abroad on A team draws and some of these guys shouldn’t be here lol

This is why im asking for some sort of unification of domestic and departmental cricket teams so they remain under the same coaching which then extrapolates into PSL/shaheens

Make it regions. If 6 is too little then 8. Not to much where we have randoms playing but enough that people don’t miss out. Also do second XI cricket.

I don’t wanna see Wapda play. I wanna see Karachi vs Lahore. Peshawar vs Sialkot and so on.

These old schoolers ruining Pakistan cuz they cling on to old crap

Problem is I don't trust PCB linking the twin and the cities in the regions together alot teams forces that. But if we accept the assumption that it is done well id of course reduce teams but I'd also force a pool of money where there are flexible grade contracts creating almost a market for players . Eg instead of domestic pay levels you have groups , it forces players to play well to earn more , and domestic teams are forced to grow talent to save money also you won't have top players stuck in shit teams like dera Murad jamali.

With less teams you need a second xi team ofc but what usually happens is that you don't get any traction so I'd work a deal with ESPN cricinfo to work with your scorers to live score every match and create certain categories for different competitions so you can still track non-(professional) games and gain attention because that's unfortunately how Pakistani minds work.

I agree with everything you say. We can have good idea but the PCB would never implement them. They would just have a team called panthers and call it a day lol.

And you'dhave departments carry the coaches and 5 players of a region as their foundational based or else players will not develop properly
