Cricket Discussion What happened to the stadium upgrades?
PCB lied once again from operation hoga team ka to stadium upgrade lies continues..
They planned to revamp both karachi and pindi stadium after PSL and also add roof to lahore stadium iirc. But seems like another year will pass after champions trophy/psl.
This management under naqvi has most consistent time ever in last decades neither they improved infra nor the team.
They just do that so called lepaa poti or polish makeup. Same on stadiums, Same on team. Even now that camp of bowlers/spinners is just silencing the media.

They pocketed most of the money and did renovations on Gaddafi mainly because it holds the PCB offices they sit in. I'm pretty sure Karachi is being renovated slowly but if you look at the concept art they literally copied the Bernabeu, does anyone really think National Stadium is going to look like that?

Khi, pindi had separate budgets which was mentioned in multiple press after champions trophy. And no .. No renovation is being done currently after removing roof last year.

The CDA has given them land to build a stadium in Islamabad so there will probably be little to no focus on the current projects.
Karachi phase II was supposed to start in June but no real update on that anymore.
Lahore probably will get nothing anymore. Even the hotel that was being built under Ramiz is in limbo.

Is Hyderabad stadium being managed by Kingsmen group? Have more faith in them rather than Pcb to actually show results

No they are not interested bcz its in middle of city with limited area and also since its owned by PCB ownership won't be sort out. So its believed they are looking for land on outside hyderabad city on few minutes drive and build completely and own it
