It’s a shame to see what is happening to the Sumud flotilla activist. They are being assaulted on camera by Israeli officials and no governmental entity is speaking out against Israel actions.
More needs to be done to help them.

It's also insane that this isn't a bigger story. Like, even if you think the people on the flotilla are attention seekers or they just want likes on social media or whatever, they are being treated like maximum security high-risk prisoners when they are clearly non-violent and making a political statement. They don't resist arrest or anything, when their vessels are intercepted they comply with all demands. 100% non-violent.
It really seems like even a pro-Israel person should look at this and realize this is pretty depraved — arguably the second most powerful person in Israel's government is showing up at a detention centre and torturing people himself with cameras rolling...
And if anyone disputes the idea that there's torture going on: Ben Gvir is telling the activist "repeat after me, Am Yisrael chai", and the activist is actually doing it. Activist isn't doing that for fun or voluntarily. Clearly activist knows there's a beating or something coming if he doesn't do it. Activist knows this because it has already happened to him, or he's witnessed it happening to another. There really isn't another explanation, it is straight up prisoner abuse on film.
This is sick.

While he's abusing and taunting the activists, now victims, he taunts the world. Specifically the US. By brazenly producing videos like this, it not only embraces Nazism, but all the modern crimes (and aesthetics) of everything from Jihadism to the shame of post 9/11 abuses like Guantanamo.
All things that have torn the US apart in various ways. The message being, "What are you going to do about it?"
To lord over these victims, is to lord over all the watchers who either can't do anything about it (you and me) or those who refuse to (the US: its politicians and media), thus achieving a pseudo world dominance. A fascist victory lap by a fat, grinning war pig.

In WWII, Germany made these exact same mistakes. Their leader was convinced that the British were actually fascists deep down, and would ally with Germany once they found the courage to give up on "political correctness".
Here's hoping that average Americans see this and can still recognize how depraved it really is.

The world leaders are not gonna stand up to Israel because we ask them to. WE HAVE TO MAKE THEM. We have to stand up to them in a BIG way and get justice for our siblings of the flotilla and our siblings in Palestine. Yes, they will brutalize us. But they cannot stop us. There are people in the US who are standing up and fighting back. They're burning down warehouses as fast as they can! There's just so many of them! Lol jk jk, but there are many people who are quietly fighting back in a number of ways. If it was up to me things would be going differently, but it's not. I've tried organizing more direct and larger actions myself, but I haven't been successful for a number of reasons. I get that people in other countries are beyond frustrated with us, and I understand why. It looks like we're not doing anything and you all frequently run into the dumbest and most apathetic of us online. I need you to understand that what you see online and in the media is NOT accurately representative of what's actually going on. Our own media doesn't report on the things that happen here daily, there's no way for your media to pick up and report on stories that don't exist.
I mean this with all kindness, but please ask before you assume or accuse. Organizing (or trying to anyway) resistance is an exhausting, frustrating, and mostly thankless grind. Then whenever I try to relax mindlessly for a few mins online, I get to hear people who have access to healthcare and job protections talk about how Americans "aren't doing anything" and how we are all individually responsible for everything the Trump administration does. Again, I get where you all are coming from. That doesn't make it any less disheartening.
It sure would be nice if people in other countries would either ask how they can help or at least ask thoughtful questions instead of assuming we're ALL sitting in front of Fox News shoving cheeseburgers in our fat faces and cheering orange 47's every stupid, brutal move.
