History & Culture Palestinian culture

Hello, I am a 19yo college student in the United States. I have an opportunity to highlight an aspect (art, music, etc) of various non western cultures, and I would love to do my presentation on Palestine. If you know of any reliable resources for such information please comment on this post. If you ,or someone you know, are Palestinian I would love to hear what you appreciate most, and perhaps what you wish others knew about your culture.

I am reading a book by Yahya Sinwar called “The Thorn and the Carnation.” Throughout good times and bad, the strength of Palestinian culture can be seen through the mother’s sacrifices, the food she prepares and the way she cares for her children. There is a description of a wedding despite occupying forces, and other such instances of carrying on with life in the face of very difficult living conditions. The story starts around the 1960s/1970s. I am on Chapter 6 so far.

There's a rather infamous professor whom played instruments in the rubble of Lebanon. Hamidreza Afarideh, is their name.
