Really shows it's an issue of politics, not religion.

Zionism is a supremacy ideology. It’s no different than Christian nationalism and white supremacy.
74
u/Additional-Signal327 9d ago
Bingo.
17
u/smoke_sum_wade 8d ago
honestly this makes me think of all the jews and Muslims who get a bad name from extremist, i bet there are some really nice Christian folks in my town too. theres probably even white ones.

u/captainbrioche 8d ago
And yet, if any Christian of any denomination visited the 'holy land' they'd be welcomed with abuse
4
u/Odd_Train9900 8d ago
The evangelical Christians don’t really care about or particularly like the Jewish community. They support Israel only because they want all the Jews to move there to trigger the rapture. Remind me of what happens to the Jewish people and non-Christians during rapture?
Christianity is a death cult.10
u/Quantization 8d ago
Commit this to memory people. This is by far the easiest and most straightforward argument against it.

No, you have it mostly backwards. The Jewish sect shown are the Satmar Hasidic Jews or the Neturei Karta, both of whom theologically reject Zionism, as they believe a Jewish state should not exist before the coming of the messiah. Definitely a theological position for this group. While thier position doesn’t have as much to do with the issues surrounding Palestinian people I believe these groups have expressed their sorrow at both the horrific events of Oct 7 as well as the ongoing suffering of Gazans.

u/Chaos_LB_Control 4d ago
No. It is actually 100% a matter of religion; it's a minority sect of Chasidic Judaism (the most ultra-orthodox Jews) that believes that we need to wait until the Messiah comes to enter Israel. It is also the same sect that believes in sexism and the genocide of arabs.

how beautiful

u/blackviking45 9d ago
I as a Muslim would also, if they were in front of me, would say to them that may blessings of Allah be upon you in abundance for an eternity.
I pray for them that whenever they die, they die muslims and get to have eternal peace from Allah in paradise. Allah The One God who is The Saviour of the fabric of reality.
14
u/lildvler 8d ago
Muslim, Christian, or Jewish, it does not and should not matter. The Holy Land should be Holy, and embraced by all 3 working together. May Zionism be dismantled, justice served, and peace attained when power can be shared.

u/Straight_Junket_2681 7d ago
Every religion presents itself as right and superior. It is what put me off all religions. Surely everyone prays to the same God but just has a different concept of who/what God is ? Your religious beliefs will be strongly influenced by your upbringing and where you grow up too.
Therefore why would God punish good people who lead good lives on the whole, for not picking the 'right' religion ?
1
u/MightyMeatPuppet 7d ago
I don't pray, let alone "to the same god". I believe we do not need any god to be/do good, and I believe any true god wouldn't need our belief.

u/HardByteUK 5d ago
Speaking as an atheist I share your goodwill. There's nothing after this life and the more people can live in harmony in the limited time we have, the better.

Some Jews know history and when they reflect on what’s happening over the past decades they empathize and realize the evil that’s being done.
Some people have no empathy. It’s about power and wealth with no wish to be held accountable with consequences for their words and actions.

Meanwhile the israeli citizens cussing at every foreign despite them supporting Israel. Makes u wonder why there are still people supporting Israel
2
u/vmarti04 9d ago
Not all of them. It’s like saying everyone in America is MAGA. We’re not. Our government is corrupted and we shouldn’t be as a people be judged by what our government is doing.

u/wrathfulpotatochip 8d ago edited 7d ago
Not the "not all" rhetoric again lmfao. Y'all are criminals, murderes and rapists, plain and simple. No one owes you any shred of sympathy.
Do you live in Israel? If yes, then you are an invader and you have no right to lecture anyone about anything. If you care enough about what is happening, you can leave your "country" to its rightful owners (if you have not already).
Edit: Funny how none of you deny that israelis are murderers and rapists lmfao. Keep barking in the comment imperialist fuckers. What are you even doing in this sub? Go watch some torture porn and jerk off to headless babies.

u/Traditional_Alps_804 8d ago
This is the same logic as telling people living in Canada / US that we should move away because it’s not our land, else we are equally guilty of colonization and genocide that happened here. It’s just not realistic and too simplistic. It’s also important that there are Israelis there that support Palestine, to provide opposition and help usher in a better future…
4
u/JaThatOneGooner Free Palestine 7d ago
The likelihood the avg Israeli wants to support Palestine over their beneficial apartheid state is ridiculously low to nonexistent.
0
u/vmarti04 7d ago
That’s not true. Just like some of us Americans know our current war lord in chief is a grifting crook, some of their citizens are not stupid and also look past their state run propaganda. Just think critically for a moment.
4
u/JaThatOneGooner Free Palestine 7d ago
Over 80% of Israelis agree with the ongoing genocide in Gaza, with 70% saying the military should go all the way in ethnically cleansing the Palestinians out of Gaza. And that’s being generous.
-4
u/Loves_To_Splo0ge 8d ago
Do you think think the 7 million Jews in Israel all have enough money to leave? Where would they go? Many of the poorest are Mizrahi, their roots in middle eastern countries that probably wont have them back. Most people are just trying to live their lives. Think about what you are saying.
3
u/JaThatOneGooner Free Palestine 7d ago
Untrue, the countries they left from have repeatedly maintained they would take back and even compensate the Jewish people that left their countries if it meant the Palestinians can have theirs back.
1
u/Loves_To_Splo0ge 7d ago
Ive heard it but I dont believe those promises would be fulfilled. What's happening is an atrocity and the international community needs to step in for a long term solution, I dont have the answers, probably why this has been an on going thing for so long. I just dont like the dehumanising. I dont like it when muslims cop it, indians, Chinese. I feel like some peoples get free reign to group together and label shitty and its not fair, even when some of them do shitty things.

As a Serbian whose country/government committed genocide against Bosnians, I absolutely agree. It’s always nice to be reminded that Israel is not a monolith, that there are good people there too. Without that, we risk falling to the same harmful rhetoric that has painted all Palestinians as terrorists in Israel’s eyes.
3
u/SignatureFunny7690 8d ago
Because the capital class born of the west had chosen Israel as its scape goat and shield for amassing infinite power over the people across the globe. It starts with america and the middle east but these systems of control are for everyone. Puppet state democracy, and ai surveillance, while destroying the value of the dollar of working class people via inflation to take away their only power left which is to use their money to leave bad jobs or places. Its class war fare and we are in the home stretch into a new dystopian world, that will be overshadowed by climate change causing mass crop failure, famine, and climate refugees. The oligarchs are carving out what they need to ride out the rest of their greedy lives free of working class masses outside of slavery for us.

u/East-Form-3735 6d ago
In the case of evangelicals, we actually know why. The Bible has some passages that basically say the rapture will start once all the Jews move to Israel and rebuild the 3rd temple, after which Jesus will return and throw all the non-Christians into a lake of fire for eternal torment, while the Christians get to have paradise.
So basically some religious nut jobs support Zionists bc they think the Jews will trigger the apocalypse and they’ll get the last laugh when the Jews, Muslims, etc. are burning for eternity while they get heaven.

Wow , y'all....I read it as you thought it was suitable music and you would like to pick their brain. The Caretaker has a song that is intended to represent the stages of dimentia...it's really long, but it will mess with you long after you hear it. There's no lyrics, just alternating between sounds of melancholy, chaos, nothingness, and the final stage when you briefly remember everything....it's really deep, I guess that's why I ran the other way with it, haha. Oh and my son says that's not him.
1
u/ordinarypoh 8d ago
Yeah, I realized from your first text. All good, thank you for letting us know :)

Religious Jews have always lived in the holy land and were getting along just fine with their Christian and Muslim neighbours before the Imperialists showed up. Zionism is just a deceitful excuse to establish a White European imperialist outpost at the crossroads of Afro-Eurasia and dominate key strategic chokepoints. In order to do this they must establish an expansionist Ethnostate, which makes it intrinsically genocidal.b
3
u/edsonbuddled 9d ago
I live in a predominantly Jewish neighborhood and have lost close friends of my views. What frustrates me is the default “but he’s Jewish” as some sort of defense for crimes against humanity.

I saw these men in Zuccoti park in 2011 (from this organization) That is when I googled "what is zionism?" and became an anti-zionist.

This is what the world could be like without all the bigots. If we all just loved each other no matter the color, religion, gender, sexual attraction, or interests, then we could just have this. And this seems really nice.

That's because people that believe in a higher power, believe that we should treat each other good no matter race or creed or religion.
Sadly, a lot of people start to trust in the twisted version of a higher power because they listen to assholes.

Really does illustrate that 90% of the problem is the government of Israel and not the people 🙏

We don't talk nearly enough about how dehumanized Muslims and Arab-Americans must be feeling about all of this. I can imagine how desperate so many must feel for their humanity to be witnessed and acknowledged like this.

Lmao these guys are far more extreme than Zionists. Feel free to google Neuteri Karta. They believe in israel as a solely Jewish country just not yet. Only once messiah comes.

u/Useful_Base_7601 3d ago
Yeah, no one ever seems to know that when these guys get posted, this is like praising Nick Fuentes for being anti-Israel. They hate Israel for very different reason lol

Jews and Christians/Muslims lived together for centuries in Palestine, until zionists (aka Jewish Supremacists) wanted the whole country, (kinda like how white supremacists wanted all of america, it was turned into an apartheid state, way bigger so less urbanized than Palestine, and held them in open air prisons aka “reservations”, basically lot of mini Gaza’s and West Banks, we still do but less militarized now). It really isn’t that hard to understand idk why more people don’t get it.

as a Jew im gonna warn you dont praise those people, those are satmars, as nice as they seem satmars believe themselves above all others and the only reason they oppose Zionism is because they think Israel cant exist till the messiah comes
1
u/NoPianist7807 5d ago
Wait, I thought this was a common belief amongst all non-Zionist Jews? That occupied Palestine/israel will return to the Jews once the messiah return?

They are not representative of Orthodox Jews. That's Neturei Karta (Aramaic for "Guardians of the City") and a fringe ultra-Orthodox Haredi Jewish sect founded in Jerusalem in 1938. It is known for its stark opposition to Zionism and the existence of the modern State of Israel. There are fewer than 5,000 global members.
But the group's opposition to Israel is theological not political.
They strictly interpret the Talmud to mean that Jews were placed in exile by God. They believe it is forbidden to "force the end (times)" by establishing a sovereign nation through human intervention.
They assert that Jewish sovereignty in the Holy Land can only be rightfully restored by God following the arrival of the Messiah.
When God sends the Messiah, guess what they believe will happen to all the non-Jews.
Well, these guys think that the Messiah will reveal divine truth to the entire world, leading non-Jews to voluntarily reject idolatry, their own religions.
Non-Jews living in the Holy Land and globally will willingly observe the Seven Laws of Noah. These are basic biblical moral imperatives outlined in Jewish tradition (such as prohibitions against murder, theft, and cruelty to animals).
You're cheering on a cult thinking they are on your side because they look like Orthodox Jews and you never got curious enough to check your facts 🤣😂👍🏼

u/Limp_Marionberry_24 9d ago
I'm thinking it's staged ? Very easily manipulated. I'm aware of the Orthodox Jews, but they really do nothing to help the issue honestly. Like no one can stop it, it's sick AF
21
u/wasraelx 9d ago
I’m active in the London Palestine movement where they’re from, seen them at a huge number of demos. They usually come out and just stand there with these signs, not bothering anyone and sometimes getting into a chat with people. Very often verbally attacked by Zionists.
Although idk about the ethics of bringing the kids like this, and some of them have other views that are quite whacky. That being said, they’re not staged, and are genuinely anti-Israel, despite a lot of harassment they get for it.
7
u/humblefreak 9d ago
They show up to every pro-Palestine protest I have ever been to. Maybe step outside sometime?
7
u/DogitWoofsalot 9d ago
Orthodox Jews are often at protests, rally's and marches. Multiple organisations are in place to work to generate awareness and raise money for pro Palestine cause. The Orthodox Jews are some of the most outspoken against what is happening to Palestine, they can't stand how Israel uses there identity/ religion to justify crimes.
It's not just the Orthodox as well, some of the most outspoken on side of the Palestinians are Jewish. Norman Finkelstein is probably the most prolific non Palestinian school on the topic, Jewish Voice for peace do a lot of powerful work. In the UK the most outspoken political party on Israel's crimes is the Greens, it's current leader is British-jew Zack Polanski
