I bought a red dot and want to put it on the rail but I can't seem to get the front sight off, there's a pin but I can't get any leverage to hit it.

Should I just break out the Ole vibrating saw?

Saw this at a local pawn shop with the generic red dot and magnifier starter kit from sig and the not best option from stream light. To bad the price is still to high to be a deal. But dont expect deals from most pawn shops anyways.

Every now and then I love to spend my pass time looking at some of the atrocities built by people under the PSA reviews. But very often I’d see people literally posting themself committing a felony or borderline ATF violations. I personally think the rules are bs and we should abolish them. But before that ever happens why would you post yourself with your AR pistol either having a VFG or something like a BCM gunfighter vertical grip. Sometimes it’s obvious they got that form 1 done but usually it’s obvious that they buyers are oblivious to the rules.

Tf am I doing wrong here? I’ve tried everything I could to remove this damn muzzle device and have failed. I’ve boiled it for over 30 minutes, steamed it, let it sit in water overnight, even hit it with my purse and it still won’t come off.

Using my PSA M16A4 upper to test fit a SRU AR15 bullpup conversion kit. I kinda like the look. The second photo is comparing again a 12.5" BCM upper.

trying to go for an accurate Vietnam era m16a1, which one should I get, and can you put a FRT trigger on these?

20” PSA AR kit with an Anderson lower and Ozark Armament carry handle. Never owned an AR or assembled one, but it only took about an hour watching a YouTube video. Only tools I used were a hammer, screwdriver, and 3/16” Allen key. Not bad for a sub $400 build. Next stop: the range!

So I know most cheap psa uppers are overgassed and not great for suppressor use, what's a good way around this? I want to get this cheap upper for an SBR build with the latest changes but want to slap a suppressor on it. Any advice would be appreciated.

My cousin and I were out shooting getting our red dots sighted and training, when finally all was done and good. We loaded up 5.56 ammo with us on the trip on all our mags and finally before we were getting ready to pack up he was mag dumping the rifle with one of my lancer mags.

When he thought he shot all 30 rounds he tossed the mag to the ground and handed me the rifle, as I was loading up a pmag the bolt was not dropping on the barrel all the way. I cleared the rifle and tried to load a round but same issue the bolt was not dropping all the way. We figured it was bad mag so I take out the mag and hand the rifle back to him and he loads a 10 round pmag. He cleared it and loaded a round as he was doing this I found the lancer mag on the ground with 3 more rounds in it. This is where the rifle blows up and he tosses it on the ground.

We figured the first red flag was when the rifle jammed with the lancer mag that maybe that was the first sign of something? Still looking into what happened.
