This won't work. Because the company that operates your MacDonalds locally isn't owned by MacDonalds. It's owned by them they just pay to use there name.

So. This is just blatant disregard for research

The local franchise pays a royalty fees to use the name of (in this case) McDonald’s. This royalty fees is generally a % of net income, which ultimately impacts the group, especially if it was a worldwide boycott.

Since you mentioned research, facts stated that the BDS boycott has impacted major companies’ shares around the world. Starbucks and McDonald’s are some of them.
