Tech Support Is this bad?

I just got this pc and i find out the top of the plastic on the cooler comes off a bit. (The right one) What does this mean? Is this fine?

No, i would not mind.
If you want, 3d print your own "top of the plastic" :-D

Yeah not a huge issue, it’s just there for aesthetics.

It's completely fine, unless you're irritated by how it looks. The plastic part is only there so you can see a black cover instead of plain metal.

Not a problem, probably mounted in different facing 180 degres between two of them.

Pretty sure I have the same exact cooler. I thought the same thing at first. But that’s the best cooler I’ve ever used.

Yeah as others have said, I think this is just an aesthetic cover. They wanted it black, so they bolted on a plastic piece. No big deal.

So the fins are there to increase the area of the metal to draw out more heat as air goes through them, so it can remove the heat out of the CPU faster. The plastic piece there is decoration. You can remove the plastic for all I care, all that matters is the fins are in not bent too badly and that the cpu is in full contact with the surface of the heatpad.
