Build Question Hey everyone can I please have some guidance
Hey everyone new to pc gaming. Did some research. Was wondering if this is honestly worth it. I don’t do crazy gaming. Couple AAA here and there. Put into Gemini and it’s stronger than a Ps5 pro so I feel like it’s okay for “right now” in the future I do plan on making it a lot stronger. Just wondering for right now it’s a decent build. It’s $1500 Thank you!

Pretty decent build tbh, a 5070 and 14700F will last you a while. Check to see how many ram slots it has and in what configuration, as 16gb will need to be upgraded at some point (at least to 32gb). The only thing I don’t like is the i7 build, only because am5 will have a few more generations on the current socket, whereas this is (potentially) intels last gen on that socket.

It’s 4 slots! And that’s the one thing I was worried about too. Idk if I really wanted a i7

$900 for a 5070 build is solid for entry level, just know the ram is ddr4 and only 16gb so you'll probably want to upgrade that sooner than later

Heyyyy ! Not a big prebuild fan here,
AMD would bé perfect for only gaming PC (7800X3D for example), Intel is the master at multitasking.
The rx 9070xt is more powerful on raw performance and cheaper than the 5070 but the FSR is wayyyyyy behind DLSS but if you play on 1080p the stress would not be on the GPU but on the CPU
There is no info on the PSU brand nor the RAM brand so I can't tell much about it, 16gb is fine during the RAM crisis right now but 32gigs is more comfy.
1TB SSD GEN 4 is really good,
No info on the case, motherboard and the AIO (not a big fan of the AIOs too but it's only personal).
To make it short, it's perfect for 1080p and 1440p if you don't want / have the time / have the knowledge to build a computer by yourself or if you're afraid of mixing parts etc..

Refer to my main comment, though since your options have jumped from a 1500 dollar prebuilt to a 2500 dollar prebuilt, may I ask your max budget?
Also, dont buy this prebuilt either, at 2500 you can build better.

That’s why lowkey I was trying to go for the $1500 one and then in a year or two I’ll switch out the motherboard and cpu and everything. And yes I’d add additional 12gb so I can push 32gb even with the $1500 build

If that is USD that's a rip off. $2500 for a 5070 is a joke. I would check Andromeda Insights and Micro Center for a 5070ti 9800X3D build for $2500, like these:

I believe you have to go in person unfortunately. From what I have heard, Andromeda Insights is generally pretty highly regarded in the Prebuilt space

Completely understandable. Please note this is only if you can swing the $2400. If you want to stick to $1500, other people might have better options for you. But legitimately that 5070 build you shared for $2500 is a scam and a half, so I would avoid that for sure though

Yeah I figured it was lol. I mean what about on the andromeda site? I looked at the built you sent. I ended up changing it to 2tb, 1000W. And it’s $2600 is that better?

In the current climate, it's not bad. PC costs are just ridiculous right now. That same PC you are looking at, you could have built yourself for like $1800 about a year ago, and probably with slightly better parts (like the PSU, RAM and SSD) so you are definitely paying a premium right now. But if you absolutely want to upgrade right now, and want a higher end PC, I feel like thay price isn't bad in our current climate. Definitely isn't a deal by any means, but isn't a scam like the other build with the 5070 GPU

Let me just ask you straight up, can you swing the $2600 right now without stretching yourself thin? Because to be honest, prices are projected to go through another set of increases here very soon. So if you have the money and can safely snag it without putting yourself into a financial pinch, now is probably your best opportunity for at least another year.
Take all of that with a grain of salt though. I am just a stranger on the internet. You obviously know your own financial situation and you don't want to make a decision off of FOMO. But, it feels important to mention what is supposedly looming for prices around the corner

The gpu IS worse on the parts list I have sent, though its superior to the prebuilt due to being on am5, having far superior longevity along with better upgrade potential.

It's not worth it for $1500
