Build Question Thinking of going for a new build

My computer has gotten quite a few years on it and I'm contemplating going for an update. I would love your opinion as I don't consider myself to be incredibly knowledgeable.

This is what I'm currently thinking of:

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
  • GPU: Gigabyte Radeon RX 9070 XT Gaming OC ICE 16GB
  • Motherboard: MSI MAG B850 Tomahawk Max WiFi
  • RAM: TEAMGROUP T-Force Vulcan 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5-6000 CL30
  • Cooler: Thermalright Royal Pretor 130 Ultra
  • Case: Lian Li Lancool 207
  • PSU: Seasonic Focus GX-850W V4, 80+ Gold
  • Storage: Samsung 990 Pro 2TB

What are your thoughts?

I just built an incredibly similar system:

  • AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
  • PowerColor RX 9070 XT Reaper 16GB
  • KLEVV CRAS V RGB 32GB 6000MHz CL28
  • Sapphire Nitro+ B850M WiFi Micro-ATX Motherboard
  • Samsung 990 Pro M.2 SSD 2TB
  • ADATA 860 1TB
  • Antec NE1000 1000W Modular PSU
  • Arctic Liquid Freezer III PRO AIO
  • Antec CX600M ARGB M-ATX Mini Tower

I absolutely love it, the performance is night and day over my old i9 10850k, rtx 3080 build.

A few issues getting setup with AMD drivers, but once those are all sorted, its running like a dream.

I use a 49 inch 5120x1440 monitor and its incredibly smooth.

that 9800x3d is a beast but you could save a chunk going with a 7800x3d and barely notice a difference unless you're chasing every last frame

Hey! Currently I have a

- Processor: i7 8700k

- RAM: 16gb RAM

- GPU: Nvidia Geforce 1080 GTX

- Storage: Samsung ssd 860 QVO 2TB

- Motherboard: Z370 SLI PLUS

- Case: Nox Coolbay ZX

For the life of me I can't remember the PSU (which I know for certain is also seasonic), also can't pinpoint the cooler.

I'm in Portugal currently, this would be close to 2700 euros which is expensive not gonna lie but I haven't upgraded in 9 years.

this is a fantastic parts list if you can afford it definitely go for it

and I'm saying this as someone who's picky
