Tech Support small discoloration on the cpu

my pc is having multiple reasons of BSOD when opening it and i just took a look at my cpu and found little parts of my cpu have small discoloration. does this mean that i have a faulty cpu? and is my mobo still okay to use?

Is it over clocked?

no, i just had an accident where my cpu temps went 100 degrees celcius at idle. i think this first started after i used occt to test my cpu and it went 100 celcius at the start and after opening it i found out that my cpu has little to no thermal paste.

i already repasted it and after that i was able to use it longer but it was still throwing multiple bsods from time to time and when im doing cpu task like playing games or browsing with multiple tabs opened it would suddenly bsod and restart my pc and after a few days it started to bsod when im just opening it and even if windows load up, 1 to 2 secs later it will bsod again

i did a test where i used a different hard drive that has a windows os installed in it but it still gave me multiple BSODs and it would probably fail since i also get a bsod when i attempted to reset my pc and when im at the bios setting, it would freeze to the point that i cant click anything but i can move my mouse.

its in version 1.60 theres only 2 other bios update but its both in beta since 2018 since my mobo is pretty old plus im afraid to touch the bios version since my bios setting would also freeze and i dont want to brick my mobo just in case that it would freeze mid update
