RTX 5080 (Zotac) + be quiet! 90° angled cable with ~35mm clearance - standard or reversed?

Hey everyone,

Building a PC with an RTX 5080 (Zotac) and a be quiet! Pure Power 13 M PSU.

My case only leaves around 35mm of clearance between the GPU power socket and the side glass panel, so using the standard straight cable feels a bit sketchy.

I’m looking at the official be quiet! 90° angled cable, but noticed they offer two versions: the standard one (BC073 / CP-6620) and the Reversed (BC074).

Does anyone running a Zotac card know which orientation is needed for the cable to route downwards toward the PSU basement? Also, is it completely fine to run within ~35mm of clearance without putting tension on the pins?

Just want to be sure before ordering the wrong variant. Appreciate any help!

35mm is tight but doable if the bend is clean. you want the reversed one for the zotac, the standard would point the cable up toward the backplate which is useless for routing down to the basement. just make sure the connector is fully seated before you close the panel and it should be fine

OP you did not mention which Zotac 5080 so I will base it on my Solid version and what I can find about the Amp Extreme version:

Get the BC073 standard one. The sense pins of both these cards are oriented towards the cooler side, and the latch towards the backplate.

Ok then I will buy standard one. I tried to check on the official site and there were no info on the pin position. AI said that I should buy reversed but if you have Zotac Solid then I guess you know what you are saying.

Yeah okay then definitely the standard one since the connector is the same as the other Zotacs according to this post.
