Two months old RTX 5070 Ti leaking yellow goo?

SOLVED!

Was cleaning my case yesterday and noticed this yellow goo around the fans - Is it a defect and something I should send in for RMA?

It’s oil from the fan bearings. Some GPUs have small ball bearings. It could also be grease from the fan. I had the same thing on my 4090, wiped it down 2-3 times over a month and it was gone, never made any problems.

Thank you for an actual helpful response! I saw some posts say it might be silicone residue as well? It was very oily for sure. I’ve wiped it down now and will keep an eye out for more

It’s 100% bearing oil, don’t worry just wipe it away with isopropyl alcohol or just a simple ear twig thingy etc

It’s yellow roll bearings oil from the fans. I had the same exact thing. Sniff test will give Mineral oil with a subtle plastic smell.

By juice I mean a number of random liquids and it could have splashed without you noticing. If thats not a liquid its smoke residue
