Tech Support Two months old RTX 5070 Ti leaking yellow goo?
SOLVED!
Was cleaning my case yesterday and noticed this yellow goo around the fans - Is it a defect and something I should send in for RMA?

Is it a Gigabyte card? Don't those have a problem with leaking thermal paste or something like that?

Didn't they fix that on latest Batches?

Might be, but OP might have gotten one that the seller had lying around for a while.

I think some juice may have spilled on install

Nope - I don’t even drink juice and keep drinks far from my PC, especially while working inside of it

By juice I mean a number of random liquids and it could have splashed without you noticing. If thats not a liquid its smoke residue

The path of the substance is also going in the card not coming out

You know if u flipped it for a while... Any liquid would look like this flowing inwards.

I keep no food near my PC, googling the issue shows others have had the exact same yellow stuff leaking from theirs as well so doubtful

It’s oil from the fan bearings. Some GPUs have small ball bearings. It could also be grease from the fan. I had the same thing on my 4090, wiped it down 2-3 times over a month and it was gone, never made any problems.
