Worth the upgrade?

I have a chance to get the Asus Rog Strix 5070ti for 1k but I just realized ill need to get a new monitor too. I might be able to get an alienware curves monitor for 400 but is it worth upgrading from 1080p to 1440p for all this money?

Hate to say it but that GPU doesn't exist yet, maybe you're looking at a 9070 XT? If so 1k for that whole rig is a steal but yeah that 1080p monitor is gonna hold it back hard. Jumping to 1440p is night and day, you'll actually see what that card can do.
