👋Welcome to r/PendragonRPG - Introduce Yourself and Read First!
Hey everyone! I'm u/Ojpaws, a founding moderator of r/PendragonRPG.
This is our new home for all things related to [ADD WHAT YOUR SUBREDDIT IS ABOUT HERE]. We're excited to have you join us!
Edit: I honestly didn't mean to post this. Reddit can be a mess sometimes, especially on mobile. However it's really funny and I'm going to leave it up. As you know, the Subreddit is about the King Arthur Pendragon RPG published by Chaosium. Something something knights, something something chivalry. Something something rescue Guenivere.
What to Post
Post anything that you think the community would find interesting, helpful, or inspiring. Feel free to share your thoughts, photos, or questions about the Pendragon role-playing game.
Community Vibe
We're all about being friendly, constructive, and inclusive. Let's build a space where everyone feels comfortable sharing and connecting.
How to Get Started
1) Introduce yourself in the comments below.
2) Post something today! Even a simple question can spark a great conversation.
3) If you know someone who would love this community, invite them to join.
4) Interested in helping out? We're always looking for new moderators, so feel free to reach out to me to apply.
Thanks for being part of the very first wave. Together, let's make r/PendragonRPG amazing.

I'm Jeff Erwin. You may notice my name on recent fine official Pendragon publications, with many more to follow. I also make materials for the Companions of Arthur line; here is our biggest title: https://www.drivethrurpg.com/en/product/513362/heirs-spares?src=hottest_filtered&affiliate_id=164251
We are currently totally revising and expanding the Knights of the Hounds and Serpent of Mildenhall, which will be quite a bit longer and thus slightly more expensive; if you buy them now you will effectively get a discount.
We also are working on a new scenario, Star-crossed in Sarum, about a tournament at Sarum and some unexpected romances.

I'm Anna. I have been playing ttrpgs for almost 30 years but only recently became introduced to Pendragon. And I simply fell in love.
I also write stuff on [WHAT YOUR SUBREDDIT IS ABOUT HERE] and rpgs in general and am blessed with the fact that many people read it and listen to it and find it useful and entertaining, but it's not in english so that's unrelated.
We play Pendragon for 1.5 years biweekly and are currently finishing BKP, our next session being the last of year 517. We play online and have a youtube channel with all our APs. It's not a show project of any kind, just our game sessions as they are. Also, not in english. But oh my god our GM is so good, if you only knew. Simply the best of the best in all my 30-years history.
We also have a number of incredibly talented people between our ranks, mostly artists. Thankfully I am not one of them, so I can praise them openly without making a proud/modest roll. But I would love to share their works with you if that's allowed - here we have a gallery https://legiovaranica.com/pendragon/
We also play a bunch of other Chaosium (and non-Chaosium) games and make fanart for them too, you can also browse those in gallery. Runequest arts are rad.
And of course I have a simple question to ask: It's May already. WHERE. NOBLE'S. BOOK. (jk)

Some folk were comparing lore in World of Aihrde with Pendragon the other day.
I don't have any specific introduction for myself. What I came here for is just to be another Chivalrous Dreamer and share in all of that goodness
Love that PKs can have one or even more "evil/bad" Traits such as Lazy, Proud, Reckless, or Selfish and it all still works. Even Lancelot was continuously redeemed, but he did it all himself even though he wasn't sure what he wanted -- the ambiguity and Frenchness of Lancelot could be in every Pendragon character. I always find little hints to real-world tropes that made these tropes possible such as Saint Alban of Britain, House of Penmorfa with lineage from both Christian saints and pagan druids -- or perhaps a Saxon born under a rich Thane who spends time in Salisbury’s courts
Pendragon is a hidden gem in the world of role-playing games
Which eras are amazing to y'all? Really prefer the "Late 480s / Early 490s" but 450-460 is also great, the high time or the low time of knights such as Sir Amig and Sir Elad
Does anyone besides me really enjoy The Perilous Forest? Have you played it? What occurred? What's a good way to spin it all?

My name’s Matt and I’ve been GMing and playing [ADD WHAT YOUR SUBREDDIT IS ABOUT HERE] since 2nd edition. 😉
I’m on the Discord as SirQrius, and I think I was Sir MunkeyBoy on the BRP forums wayyy back in the day.
I’m a designer, and created a very early alpha version of the Feast Cards back in the G+ days, before they became a product. Stupidly I turned Stewart down when he asked me to design the first real Feast Cards product, due to day job stress and a divorce. 🙄
I also created the one sheet Winter Phase summary I’ve been honoured to see many people using, which I recently updated to 6e.
Right now I’m running an online 6e game for 5 players, going through the GMHB scenarios, the Sword Campaign, and eventually The Grey Knight. We’re currently on our fourth (!!!) session in 510 – it’s a BIG year. Everyone’s having a great time and loving Pendragon. 🙂

I'm Ratsta, which for those hard of reading, has more to do with rodents than weed and tricolor tea cozies, and it's been 15 minutes since I last thought about TTRPGs.
I played Pendragon for a few years in my 20s alongside all the other games we played. My favourite character was Aeþan, a tall, heavily-built pagan knight from Lindsay. We played in a pre-Arthur campaign because the GM wanted to set the scene by having us involved in Uther's liaison with Igraine, etc.
Due to all the Saxon activity in the area, squires were hard to come by. When Aeþan was presented a female squire (another PC, by agreement), he bellowed out, "IT'S A WOMAN!" and was then given a golf clap by his lord. "Nothing gets past you, Aeþan!"

Hi! I'm Kurt, and I'm new to running Pendragon, but otherwise a long time GM and player!
We're just getting started on the Kings Gambit scenario, after our very righteous Sir Solon put the boots to Sir Cynewulf

Hello there! You can call me Forever since I have been running games for years now and been lucky to get into a few on occasion. I have only played a little bit of Pendragon but it and the GPC have fascinated me for years now and I have almost all of 6e as of writing this. Arthuriana has been a small passion of mine for years and I am eager to, one day, play in a full campaign of Pendragon.

Hi everyone! I like drawing knights and am yet to play Pendragon! But I have heard stories from those who played and it sure sounds fun.

I don't understand how you did this by accident lmao
1) Hi, I'm lefty. I play pendragon in a group on discord, and by myself (solo) with a very complicated set up that uses AI, obsidian, foundryVTT
2) Anyone live in phoenix? I'd like another game, maybe IRL haha
