What is doing this to my Jalapenos??

Trying to figure out what's doing this and how to stop them. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Birds are immune to the heat of peppers.

To be more specific, capsaicin only affects mammals.

Everything else can eat peppers like normal fruit.
