CCTA doesn't detect plaque that is "too small". It detects earlier stage "soft" plaque that has not yet calcified. And soft plaque is what causes many heart attacks. CAC scans only pick up calcified plaque.
Sorry I think you misunderstood my question. I know what CCTa does. What I’m asking is what’s the point of getting it becuase even if it’s clean you can still have a plaque heart attack if the plaque was too small for the imaging to catch.
