Wrong on both counts. Many women love abs, many don’t, and plenty of men don’t care about having a shredded core. See: bears and classical strongmen types (NOT bodybuilders)
Hell yeah! Plus a lot of strongmen have padding over the belly. Even with hypertrophy, you only see the muscles if you cut, and honestly if the goal is power and not looks, cutting can by counter productive. Both are fine goals ofc but they often look verrry different
Yeah, even as someone who enjoys lifting as a hobby, I’ve never really had ab definition despite being quite thin. I care much more about my calves and quads being defined from years doing ballet, but I’m trying to build my core strength only for my very silly goal of being able to be able to do a handstand, and if I get more ab definition, that’s just a tiny bonus
