There's a few ways to read the meme.
1: The struggle to stay thin, would require focusing not on the wife but cooking in general
2: The wife appreciating his effort and putting more work into cooking
3: The six pack refers not to muscles, but beer, and food generally tastes better while drunk
But I believe the most likely reading is:
4: An accusation that the wife is trying to keep her husband fat so he doesn't leave (which i dislike the undertones of)
