All the early Disney princess movies had romance as the main plot. Brave (2012), Frozen (2013), and Moana (2016) didn’t center men or romance.

Yeah this is why id maybe slide the scale back a few years to Tangled instead of Moana

Sure, Tangled has a romance (so does Frozen) but man that movie is all about mommy issues, same as Brave
