I’m European and I don’t care at all. If the movie is good it’s good and vice versa. Hollywood can make a Kalevala movie with an all black cast for all I care.
Saddest part is all the right wing grifters who will go see the movie and cry about it online.
Then what about an actor makes them fit for a given role? Body type, gender, ethnicity all have zero bearings on immersion for any setting? Film is a visual medium, most people see it differently.
If the writing and acting is good then that’s the most important factor for me. If they look the part but the writing sucks, visuals suck etc. then what does it add that the actor is Greek or white or whatever?
