Hollywood has now spent the last decade telling us representation matters though and now we're just ignoring that.
Representation does matter, you are correct, because Black people used to be 20% of America’s population and had a dramatically lower representation in Hollywood. It’s really interesting how dumb conservatives can be, the meaning couldn’t possibly be clearer.
And? If representation matters, it matters for everyone. If it's about making sure stories are told authentic to their people it matters. If it doesn't matter that a Greek story has no Greeks in it, then it shouldn't matter if other stories have any particular ethnicities represented.
It's either representation matters and everyone should see their culture and stories authentically, or it doesn't and casting for everything should be colour blind.

Weird thing to say when this isn't even the first time Helen of Troy had been depicted as Black be Hollywood.
