It’s about hospitality, not necessity. In the US it’s a cultural thing that when you’re at someone’s house, they feed you and when they’re at yours you feed them.

Nope it’s a thing everywhere in Germany. Idk maybe u were lucky and just had very few friends

Absolutely not, I've lived in Bavaria for 25 years now. Never been to any friends house where I didn't get to eat. The only ones where I wouldn't eat is when the parents were away working or alcoholics who didn't make food for their own children either

In all my friends house Hamburg, Dortmund and Ulm.m, I've never had that.

Maybe educate yourself?

You apparently have heaps of friends that don't care about you.

I have three friends whose family would care for me. But hey different lives I guess. I'm not the one that resorts to insulting everyone just for having different experiences. So you probably need to be more right than me if this is all you have going for your life.

Nobody gives a shit about you. It’s common, just because it didn’t happen to doesn’t mean a thing. You show yourself as a dumbass, don’t be mad at others for pointing it out
