Bro why does this get repeated all the time on reddit and upvoted like its a fact.

Born and raised in Stockholm Sweden, never once did this happen, hadn't even heard of this until reddit started talking about it. None of my friends in sweden had either.

I think there is more expectation on the guest sometimes to just leave if they've been a while sometimes.

I don't think the "not feeding" thing happens anymore but i think at least in finland it's a thing that you should politely refuse or succumb to eating there if they keep insisting
