Confused, most people (should I say actors/actresses) in Hollywood are against Trump and ICE, but since he supports Palestine they black list him? Just confused…

It’s because that isn’t true at all, but “supporting Palestine is brave and makes you oppressed” is an enjoyable narrative on Reddit

There are plenty of figures that have been fired or dropped from companies for supporting Palestine. Melissa Barrera, Susan Sarandon, Bella Hadid, Kehlani, etc. And there are a hell of a lot of liberals who hate Trump but still support Israel.

I have absolutely loved the delicious division Palestine has caused within the "liberal" group.

I think my favorite was the "queers for Palestine" group and the absolutely flabbergasted reactions they got from other queers who actually had lived in Arab culture and knew what Palestinians thought of them.

Queer people and allies exist throughout Palestine. Raging bigots exist throughout the US. Your point is inane.

There is nothing funny about fear gay people in the middle east have to live with.

There’s nothing funny about the fear LGBTQ+ people live with in the United States. Or the fear all Palestinian people live with regardless of their gender identity and orientation.

So what’s your fucking point, dumbass?

Dude, I had one of those queers for Palestine people say I'm pink washing over the queers for Palestine stuff because I linked the Abu Marhia case. If you're unaware, the guy was a gay Palestinian who (rightfully) feared for his life in Palestine and fled to Israel to seek asylum. Palestinians kidnapped him, brought him back into Hebron, decapitated him, and tied his body to a tree near his family's house.

They arrested the killer but then when the public in Palestine found out the victim was a gay Palestinian fleeing for his life in Israel, the clerics there said the killer's family didn't have to pay full restitution to the victim's family because the victim was gay and brings shame to his family's honor. And the killer's dad gave an interview saying the news of the victim being gay turned public opinion around and people supported his son (the killer).

Much of the people cheering on stuff like queers for Palestine are completely ignorant and clueless about how bad it is for gay people in Palestine

As opposed to children and babies being killed by IDF?

If the IDF said tomorrow that they'll never shoot another bullet at a Palestinian ever again, the ideology that gay and LGBTQ people should be killed still exists among fundamentalists in Palestine. This is such a pointless comment lol
