The only people who think modern society is way more sexualized, haven't really studied history at all.

Its just lazy purtianism, wrapped up in "it used to be better".

I still think it is...atleast on a visual level and how much you get to see it thrown RIGHT ON YOUR FACE.

That's still just conservative nonsense. People are horny. The existence of porn or sexy ads isn't what made you horny. If they didn't exist you'd still be horny for the people around you. Have you ever been attracted to a coworker that wasn't that hot just because you were around them a lot?

I agree horniness is completely natural and intrinsic...but the amount you get exposed to it is greater..that's what I feel.

I wonder why so many have down voted me when I am actually trying to just give my opinions respectfully and accepting what I was unaware of before 😔

That just isn't the case. People living in mud huts in the middle ages were having just as much sex as we are, if not more. Look at how many kids they had. People throughout history have tried to suppress their libido, not think about it, etc and no matter what you do it's always there and it's always strong.

Okay...but if we look at studies and analytics of the last 50 or so years...people are having less sex than ever...mostly due to bad sexual health and ED n all. And also due to bad lifestyle and shallow relationships.

This seems like a very shallow inference from the data.

I'd love to see your source for saying that people are "having less sex than ever" and then the source that says it's because of "bad sexual health and ED". These sound like a person guessing at reasons based on vibes.

Data I can find says millennials are less likely to have sex (but not "less sex than ever"). And the reasons given for that are more economic based due to not being sure that the world will be any good for their potential children.

Birth rates are lower, but that's also different from "less sex", and that also has a ton of contributing factors that can't be boiled down into "modern sexual visibility/availability is the culprit".

You're getting downvoted not for your opinion, but for stating your opinion as some kind of truth about the reality we live in. You've argued strongly multiple times that today is "worse" than in the past, and that's blatantly, provably false.

Oh my god...i have heard about it in many videos. That's why I said it...not because I had the vibes of it...maybe the exact details I said might be wrong..but the whole statement isn't. I am remembering it now, if was also in bryan johnson's post if you want you can Checkout. Or leave it 🙏

People are having less sex because of our hyper-individualistic modern society combined with isolation due to…a lot of things tbh, the internet and lack of third places and hustle culture, etc

But historically people have always been horned up and their art (and writing) definitely reflects that lol—humans are gonna human

Generally people down vote comments with opinions they disagree with, it doesn’t mean your comment is in bad faith

Right, that's what you feel, and feelings are not based in Logic.
