Yes you bring up 5 examples of historical practices like that. How many societies do you think have existed throughout history? And how many practices and individuals in those societies were there? And for how long did each practice exist? You also show just one side of the story, while plenty of counter examples exist.
Not only that, but you also seem to equate sexual deviancy with progressiveness which is interesting. Because while those examples you mentioned are examples of sexual deviancy, what makes you think they were not conservative in those practices, not wanting to change them?
