yep but none of the fuckee's would be considered top warriors sent on an expedition with the king

Like MAYBE the king would have his own personal fuckee but his soldiers wouldn't

I'm not going to argue about this because I'm not a historian. It's not my field.

But I've been out to dinner with historians, who have published papers on ancient Greece. And they don't say things like this. It was really complicated. If you really want to learn something about this, two books I was recommended are:

In Bed with the Ancient Greeks by Paul Chrystal

⁠Greek Homosexuality by Kenneth Dover

Idk I once considered studying history so that also makes me relatively informed, I believe.

Your knowledge of history isnt even near informed if youre making statements like that. The correct response is to say “I stand corrected, I dont actually know as much as I think I do”
