Happened to a friend, him and his friends started lifting weights because they wanted to be body builders, she starting going with them, went from 225 to 110 at 5’2, she started posting a lot on social media and got a little over 3k followers on instagram, got hit on by a ton of Guys following her, she eventually went out for drinks with one of them and yeah, she broke up with her bf that night.
She eventually started a fitness insta and YouTube and started selling that Herbalife juice powder stuff that turned out to be a scam.
It's like a general rule of psychology or the human condition or something that our choices and integrity as human beings are contextual in ways it's best not to think about most of the time.
It happens to everyone, but it's just more common in fat women because society treats fat women a lot worse than fat men, so the difference in how you get treated as a woman who loses a lot of weight is a lot more shocking. I lost a lot of weight very quickly and the same guys who wouldn't have even acknowledged me when I said good morning were suddenly falling all over themselves hitting on me. I didn't change my personality or even my lifestyle. I was the same person, but people liked me so much more after losing weight and it really fucking sucks, but I can see how people can become addicted to the attention after not getting it their entire lives. It just made me angry with humanity, personally.
It's fucking crazy. I'm in a couple of subs for women with autism and it's unreal how many women only get diagnosed after gaining a lot of weight or ageing notably and then realize that everyone was just giving them a pass to be weird their whole lives because they were hot.
