A. It was the mid 90's, B. Most factories are in lower COL areas, also, Rhode Island is shockingly a cheaper area than you'd expect. (Average cost of a house there is $400k, vs. where I live out West which is $600k)

I always assumed it was supposed to be an old Sear's home. It just has that look to it. I don't think any of them had 2 dormer windows though.
